Modern Blues Power trio, Absolution take up the majority of Joe's touring/playing time.

With three albums out, two studio - 'Issues', 'Dusty Road' and one live ' Live From The Front' the band are regular fixtures on the UK and European blues touring circuit.

One of two Guitar/Bass exam boards that Joe teaches from. The RGT gives a much more theoretical grounding in the electric instruments. Featuring thorough scale and chord exercises, improvisation training, chord chart reading and thorough aural training. Definitely one to think of doing for the budding serious player!

The second alternative for Guitar/Bass examinations that Joe offers. A more musical exam than the RGT. Rockschool still gives grounding in scales, chords, improvisation and aural skills. It however asks students to learn three pieces from a choice of six in the book to learn and play to a backing track in front of the examiner. Free choice pieces can be used as an alternative to the syllabus pieces.
